Nursery
The Early Years is the most magical place to be in any school. Our Nursery for children aged 2 - 4 is a fun, exciting and safe place for your child to start their learning journey. We have highly qualified and experienced staff who skilfully plan opportunities for purposeful play throughout the day. Our nursery ensures that children are growing, learning, laughing and sharing every day.
We know that Communication is key. Teaching children to be able to communicate their wants and needs, and to be able to listen and understand forms the basis of our curriculum. The link between home and Nursery is vital and we welcome parents and carers in regularly. Please speak to any one of us with the smallest of concerns, and let us know if we can help with anything. Your family is our family, and we will treat your child as if they are our own.
LWe love being outside and go out every day, rain or shine. We understand children’s’ desire to be active and have lots of opportunities for this. We have a forest school area where children enjoy exploring and digging, as well as a stage, a music station, trikes and a trim trail.
Activities are carefully planned, including theme days and exciting visits and visitors. This year, we have had reindeer come to see us, hatched chicks, been on a bear hunt and had a pantomime. We have celebrated Christmas, Easter, Chinese New Year, Hannukah, Divali and Eid. We have welcomed the library into Nursery and learned about staying healthy.
We have a range of role play resources, painting, drawing and clay, construction and music and dance. Our children love coming to Nursery and we love teaching them.
